ARU LAB 006
Cambridge’s best kept secret is the youth symphonic orchestra. Meeting every summer, either in Cambridge or its twin city of
Heidelberg or in Montpellier. Around 100 young musicians spend 10 days playing music together, stay with host families, and
prepare for a grand finale concert. The orchestra has met up for over 60 years, predating the EU and has survived Brexit. Only
covid could put it on hold temporarily, but it is now been back in full swing and will meet next in Montpellier in August.
This talk presents some footage of the concerts from the last 10-15 years, compiled to celebrate the 60th anniversary.
