Tuesday, 15th October – a Masterpiece of Hungarian Film – On Body and Soul
screening at Anglia Ruskin University (LAB 109) at 6.30pm
Two workers in a slaughterhouse discover they share the same dream where they meet as deer in a forest and fall in love. The film mixes documentary realism with dreamlike scenes, and pathos with comedy. It was nominated for an Oscar for best Foreign Language Film and won several major awards, including the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival.
